OUR TEAM

Mhuri Experts is led by two highly experienced and qualified Social Workers with extensive experience in frontline practice and safeguarding across a number of Local Authorities. We have worked in and managed a variety of local authority social work teams including referral and assessment, long term, looked after children and children with disabilities as well as fostering and adoption.

We have extensive experience as Independent Social Workers (ISWs) and have each produced an array of expert witness assessments for a number of local authorities including the London Boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth, Newham, Greenwich, Croydon, Hackney, Haringey and Brent to name a few. In addition we have worked with children social care services in Kent, Medway, Essex, Surrey, Birmingham and Liverpool.

We hold a number of qualifications including Masters of Social Work, LLB Law and BSc Psychology with Business. We have also completed numerous trainings including PAMs, Makaton, disorganised attachment, Signs of Safety and Systemic practice.

Our ISWs possess a wealth of experience. They come from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and speak a diverse variety of languages from across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle east.
